Position: Maintenance Stores Person

Type: Part-Time / Seasonal – 2 days per week (flexible)

Pay Rates: Up to £12.71 per hour depending on age

Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Maintenance Stores Person.

We are seeking an organised and self-motivated individual to take ownership of the maintenance stores function. You will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly by maintaining accurate stock control, improving organisation, and enabling efficient access to materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks.

- Organise and label stores to ensure a clean, logical, and accessible layout.

- Identify and report low stock, discrepancies, and ordering needs.

- Prepare and pre-pick materials for planned and reactive maintenance work.

- Ensure critical spare parts are consistently available.

- Implement simple systems for engineers to access parts when stores are unattended.

- Keep stock records up to date and communicate clearly with the Maintenance Manager.

- Maintain a safe and compliant stores environment, including COSHH requirements.

Requirements

- Experience in stores, warehouse, or maintenance environments.

- Understanding of maintenance parts and consumables.

- Experience in fast-paced or seasonal operations.

- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.

- Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, or stock systems).
