Your Accountabilities
As a Junior Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the team with day‑to‑day invoice processing and supplier management. This is a full‑time role, offering excellent exposure to a busy finance environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- High‑volume invoice processing
- Ensure appropriate approvals and coding of invoices is provided
- Assisting with supplier queries
- Supporting the wider finance team during peak periods
- Helping maintain accurate financial records
This position is perfect for someone at the start of their finance career who is eager to learn and develop their skills.
What you'll need to succeed
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, hardworking approach
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Previous finance experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided
