Junior Network Engineer
Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid 3 Days in Office)
Permanent – Full Time

Step into the world of network engineering with Haven. As a Junior Network Engineer, you’ll join our growing Digital team and help maintain, support and improve our network infrastructure across all parks and offices. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their technical skills in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced engineers to keep our networks secure, stable, and ready for the future.

Your Opportunity
Support day-to-day network operations and monitoring across Haven’s sites.
Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades for LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Respond to network incidents and service requests, escalating where needed.
Help maintain accurate network documentation and configuration records.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practice.
Take part in network projects, learning from senior engineers and gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies.

What We’re Looking For
Basic experience in a network support or engineering role (internships or placements welcome).
Basic understanding of LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN and wireless networking.
Familiarity with routing and switching (Cisco, HP or similar).
Awareness of network security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
Certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are desirable but not essential.
